This session for school leaders focuses on creating the foundations for successful, sustainable ed tech implementation by moving beyond a "break-fix" approach to a five-year plan for seamless integration. Key components include: aligning the school technology plan with the Comprehensive Education Plan (CEP) and utilizing diagnostic tools like the DIIT Readiness Checklist for assessment, considering models like TPACK, SAMR, and ISTE Standards to guide effective technology integration in the classroom. Staff empowerment strategies discussed include cultivating internal expertise through customized Professional Development (PD), establishing a tech team, and securing buy-in for new initiatives.
